CAN THE PRINCIPAL
Franklin Student Council’s November School wide project was ‘Can the Principal’! The food drive took place from November 16-20. This food drive included participants from our Kent schools to help our community and those in need. Student Council members made daily announcements to motivate students and staff to bring in non-perishable food items to help people in our community. Members also made creative and colorful posters to display around our school to encourage everyone to bring in food items. We talked about the character trait of Compassion, and what it means to give from our hearts to others less fortunate. Overall, it was an outstanding success! Did we Can our principal, Mr. Poole?? Oh, yes, there were so many cans and food items, that he was trapped in his office!!! 2-4-6-8- Fill up someone else’s plate! Thank you to everyone in Franklin school who contributed to our annual canned food drive! We appreciate your help and compassion!!
