2.  The K-2 talent show is tomorrow.  The show begins at 9:00 am.  Attached to this email is a list of performers and their acts.  I have also attached the permission slip for the 3-5 talent show that will be at the end of February.

3.  Chess Club -  In the past we have had an after school chess club.  The club was run by Mr. Young.  Mr. Young just became a dad for the 4th time over the weekend.  He will not have the time to run the chess club this school year.

4.  The Acme receipt program ends February 11th.  Please turn in your receipts as soon as possible.  There is a flyer attached to the email regarding the program.  Don’t forget to keep turning in your Box Tops for Education too.

5.  Mrs. Horschler (Franklin’s Art Teacher) will need help this school year with the mounting and hanging of student work for the Kids’ Expo in April.  Please contact Mrs. Horschler if you are able to volunteer some time to mount the work.  You can either call the school or contact her by email ke_mhorschler@kentschools.net.

6.  Franklin Family Dance – The dance is this Friday from 6:00 to 8:00.  Please don’t forget to send any Valentine related items to the office for the raffle basket.  We need the items by Thursday, February 2nd.
