Central School Principal & Dean of Students: Timothy G. King
Timothy King began as Dean of Students in the 2010-2011 school year. Mr. King has been employed by Kent City Schools since 2005. He has worked as a Social Studies teacher at Roosevelt High School, teaching World History. Mr. King also had served as an assistant coach in the football and baseball programs at Roosevelt and the boy’s basketball program at Stanton. As Dean of Students, Mr. King serves as the principal of the Bridges Academy and assists Mrs. Mary Lynn Bush with Ninth and Tenth grade students at Roosevelt. Mr. King is also the safeties coach for the John Carroll University football team. Mr. King earned his Bachelor’s Degree in History from John Carroll University and his Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Kent State University.
Assistant Principal TRHS Grades 9 & 10: Mary Lynn Bush
Mary Lynn Bush joined the administrative team in 2009. Previously, she served our students as a RHS mathematics teacher. Mrs. Bush enjoys spending time with her husband and children. She also enjoys coaching tennis for our Rough Riders!

Math: Jeremy Bish
Jeremy Bish joined the Roosevelt High School faculty in 2008, after graduating from Kent State University’s Masters of Arts in Teaching program. He teaches Mathematics to the Sophomores. Mr. Bish is also a freshmen football coach for RHS and a boy’s basketball coach for Stanton Middle School.
English: David Massucci
David Massucci joined the Roosevelt High School faculty in 2009, after graduating from John Carroll University’s Masters of Arts in Teaching program. David teaches English to our freshman.
U.S. History: Mike Markulis
Michael Markulis has been teaching at Theodore Roosevelt High School since 2000, and joined the Bridges Academy in 2001. He graduated from Stow-Munroe Falls High School in 1994, and later Kent State University, earning a B.S. in education in Social Studies. Mr. Markulis has coached Women’s and Men’s Volleyball at Theodore Roosevelt, and enjoys music and pop culture trivia. He lives in Akron with his wife Heather, their son Cole, and their dog “Blue”.
Choices: Kelly Foreman
Kelly Foreman is a graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School and Kent State University. Kelly chooses to work with the Bridges Academy, and she feels very blessed have the opportunity to teach a curriculum that creates positive changes in the lives of her students. Kelly is married to Roosevelt High School social studies teacher, Craig Foreman. The couple has three sons, and Kelly enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dog, and participating in various activities at her church.

English: Robin Golden
Robin Golden joined the Roosevelt High School faculty in 2004, after graduating from Kent State University’s Masters of Arts in Teaching program. Since joining the Kent City Schools learning community, Robin has taught English in the Bridges Academy as well as various classes at the Roosevelt main campus. Robin enjoys getting to know the students during their two year rotation in the Academy. Robin lives in Green, and she is married to Hudson High School science teacher, Alan Golden. The couple has two young daughters, Sydney and Colette.
Math: Charles Bowman
Charles Bowman began teaching at Theodore Roosevelt High School in 2008. He joined the Bridges Academy staff for the 2010-2011 school year. He serves as co-advisor to the RHS class of 2013 and is an adjunct professor at Kent State University. He and his wife, Edie, have three daughters, Jazminn, Tatiana, and Autumn.
Choices: Scott Chouinard
Scott Chouinard is a graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School. Scott serves as a football coach for our students at TRHS.
Science: John Seabolt
John Seabolt teaches physical science to our freshman students each year. He joined the Bridges faculty in 2006. Mr. Seabolt also is an assistant coach for the varsity football team.
