Hello everyone! Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year, and welcome to my blog. I plan on using this blog to keep students and parents on track with assignments in both Environmental Science and Chemistry. I’ll update regularly, so check here often!
Environmental Science
- About Environmental Science – the most important handout that describes how I run the class
- Class Rules – all of my class rules, expectations and consequences
- Lab Safety Rules – safety rules specifically for lab activities
- Class Contract – this must be signed by both the student and a parent and returned before the student is allowed to participate in any laboratory activities
- Course Syllabus (2010-2011) – a list of all of the general topics we’ll be learning in class, by quarter
Chemistry
Here are PDFs of the handouts from the first days of school:
The Class Contract for the correct class must be signed by each student and his/her parent/guardian and turned in by Friday, August 27, 2010. Students who haven’t turned in a signed Class Contract will not be able to participate in labs or field work!
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at ke_ccarman@kentschools.net. Thanks, and have a great year!
