Meal Options at Stanton Middle School and Roosevelt High School

BREAKFAST:

  • Student Breakfast costs $1.55
  • If a student qualifies for Free Lunch, the breakfast meal is free.
  • If a student qualifies for Reduced Lunch, the breakfast meal costs $.30

LUNCH:

  • There are two pricing options for lunch at Stanton:
  • Option one is the Regular Meal or Lunch Type A at a cost of $2.90
  • The “pizza shop” line and the “Grill” Line at Stanton are regular price.
  • Option two is the Premium Meal at a cost of $3.70
  • The “Made to Order Wraps and Subs” Line is the premium price.
  • At RHS The “Made to Order Wraps and Subs” Line and the “Treat Yourself Right” line are the premium price.

If a student is qualified for Free Lunch, a lunch meal is free.

If a student is qualified for Reduced Lunch, a lunch meal is $.40

SCHOOL BREAKFAST PROGRAM (SBP) OUTREACH

USDA Memo SP 40-2011 Child Nutrition Reauthorization 2010: Outreach to Households on the Availability of the School Breakfast Program (published June 15, 2011), provides guidance on the implementation of the provision requiring schools to conduct outreach on the availability of the SBP.

Reports show that students who eat breakfast improve their behavior and ability to perform in the classroom. The School Breakfast Program provides an estimated 32 million breakfasts at more than 1,400 sites in a year.  Following is useful information for starting, increasing participation and promoting your breakfast program:

Fuel up with breakfast at your schools cafeteria.

Prices are:

  • Free if you qualify for free lunches
  • $ .30 if you qualify for reduced school lunch
  • $ 1.55 for full pay students
